Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

1. About this policy

MaoleJewelry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates maolejewelry.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you browse our website, create an account, purchase products, contact us, or interact with our marketing.

It also explains how our internal MaoleJewelry Social Manager (“Social Superagent”) uses information from authorized business social media accounts.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and account details. Account passwords are stored in hashed form, not plain text.
  • Order information, including purchased items, billing and shipping addresses, payment status, shipping details, and communications about your order.
  • Information you provide through messages, forms, or reviews, such as contact-form submissions and any optional images you attach.
  • Website usage and technical information collected by our first-party website services, such as device/browser type, pages visited, referral sources, and interactions. This information is collected anonymously and is not linked to your name or email.
  • Marketing preferences and email engagement information, including delivery, opens, and link clicks when email tracking is enabled.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe handles payment credentials under its own privacy policy. We receive the information needed to confirm and manage transactions (such as order amount and payment status), not your card details.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate the website and customer accounts.
  • Process payments, fulfill orders, and provide order updates.
  • Respond to questions and provide customer support.
  • Send marketing communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable requirements.
  • Understand website and campaign performance.
  • Prevent misuse, investigate technical problems, and protect our services.
  • Maintain business records and meet applicable obligations.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information as needed to providers supporting our business. Our current services include:

  • Base44 — website hosting, application infrastructure, and the platform that runs our store and Social Manager.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery, including open and click tracking.

These providers receive information needed to perform their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. In addition, our domain is configured with Cloudflare for DNS and Zoho Mail for business email. Cloudflare processes DNS requests and, depending on the configuration, may also provide CDN, caching, or security services for the domain. Zoho Mail handles our business email accounts. The specific Cloudflare features enabled beyond DNS and the specific Zoho mailboxes in use are configured outside this website and may change — contact us if you need current detail.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable requirements.

5. Cookies, analytics, and email tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar local storage technologies for the functions actually enabled, such as keeping you signed in, remembering your cart, and measuring website activity. Our website analytics are first-party (collected by us, not by advertising networks), are not linked to your name or email, and do not include advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.

We do not currently display a cookie consent banner, because the technologies we use are limited to first-party functionality and first-party, non-advertising analytics. We also do not currently respond to browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. If we add advertising or cross-site tracking in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

Marketing emails may use tracking technologies to record opens and link clicks. These measurements help us assess campaigns and may not always accurately reflect a person's activity. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking some technologies may affect website functionality. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

6. Social media integrations

Our internal Social Manager helps authorized MaoleJewelry administrators prepare, review, schedule, and publish business content to connected business accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

When we authorize a social platform connection, the integration may process:

  • The authorized account's name and identifiers.
  • Authorization tokens and granted permissions, which are stored with administrator-only access.
  • The destination board (Pinterest) or Page (Facebook) selected for publishing.
  • Post content and media submitted for publishing.
  • Publication status and metrics available through the enabled integration.

For Pinterest, this includes accessing the authorized account's boards and Pins, selecting a board, and publishing approved product Pins with links to our store. For Instagram and Facebook, this includes publishing approved images and posts to the connected business account.

The tool is intended for our own business accounts. Customers do not need to connect their social accounts to shop. Social platforms process information under their own privacy policies. Authorized account owners can revoke access through the relevant platform's settings. Requests to delete retained integration data can be sent to our privacy contact in Section 14.

7. AI-assisted content preparation

We use AI-assisted tools, through the Base44 platform's language-model integration, to help administrators prepare product marketing drafts. Information submitted for this purpose may include product descriptions, product images, brand instructions, and administrator prompts.

The integration is intended to receive product information, brand instructions, and administrator prompts. It does not submit order data or social-platform authorization tokens to the AI tools. Because administrator prompts are written by our team, they could inadvertently include personal information; we aim to limit what we enter and review generated drafts before publishing, but we do not guarantee that no personal information is ever included in a prompt. All generated drafts are reviewed by an administrator before any content is published.

8. Retention

We retain information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and its purpose. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our applicable processes and the capabilities of our service providers.

9. Security

We use safeguards intended to protect personal information and restrict access to authorized persons. Access to customer and integration data is limited to administrators of our store. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional communications, such as order confirmations and shipping notices, may still be sent as needed to provide the service you requested.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We may verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained for legal, transaction, or security purposes.

11. Children

Our store and business management tools are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Applicable privacy protections may differ by location.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or requirements change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. We will provide additional notice where required.
